My Health Assistant is complementary and extensional software of the Personal Medical File (PMF) for all people having social security. The French PMF will be established in two years time. It will simplify exchange and dialogue between the patient and the medical body. The PMF represents an essential progress for the patient because he will concretely help to observe and control the state of health in total respect of the medical secrecy.

In this perspective, My Health Assistant offers functionalities allowing the patient to follow his state of health in a simple and effective way.

The software offers:

  • Firstly: a prevention/information part devoted to a health parameter (weight, tension, etc.) or pathology (AIDS, cancer, etc.)

  • Secondly: a part dealing with the follow-up of these parameters or of the pathology.

It is ergonomic, simple, and useful and does not push the patient to do self-diagnosis.

My Health Assistant is an innovative tool of prevention and health support.

MEDIALIS engineer staff (specialists in innovative computing systems for the health sector) are doing research in the objective to enrich the French PMF. MEDIALIS also has the support of Michel Barth’s expertness, who also leads some projects and essential experimentations in the last few years in the context of the deployment of the French PMF.

We base this project on our existing partnerships with regional or national referent health associations, concentrating on ethical and scientific issues. We also work with Reimp’hos, the health platform of the French region Limousin and leader in experimentations concerning the PMF, in order to do the first tests of "My Health Assistant". MEDIALIS also benefits from the goodwill of the "Groupement d'Intérêt Public" (Public Interest Group) of the Ministry in charge of the development of the PMF, conductive to all kinds of initiatives concerning its enrichment.
