 MEDIALIS conceives, develops and markets tools helping health
professionals in their decision making process. To finance the research
and the development of its innovative products, the company values its
expertise concerning information and organisation with important
persons in the medical and social sector as well as in the hospital
related sector.
« Technical expertise » :
Since summer 2005, MEDIALIS has been developing an expertise concerning
the evaluation and the certification of biomedical engineering devices
to help dependant people and people losing their autonomy, in
co-operation with the TIMC laboratory of the CNRS (National Scientific
Research Centre; based in Grenoble, France). The company has also
acquired a specific expertise concerning evaluations of the incidences
of technologies for older persons (Incidence on the physical health but
also on the cognitive aspects).
Expertise in « expert systems » :
MEDIALIS has been working for some years on the development of software
dedicated to doctors, supporting them in their diagnosis and their
prescriptions (ETIOS). The company therefore holds expertise in
algorithmic terms, in medical image databases and in its own
informational structure of specialized medical systems.
MEDIALIS is also specialized in ergonomics, security (cryptography) and
innovative functions for the computing systems in hospitals, health
centre structures and other organisms of the same sector (MEDIATEAM).
Expertise in « health hazard management » :
MEDIALIS holds an expertise in health risk management. The solutions we
offer help the professionals of the health centre sector to prescribe
the better adapted devices for their patients (AGEIS), limit medical
errors by any possible way and operate on quality in health
establishments (HOPTIMIS, MEDIATEAM). MEDIALIS also has knowledge in
the conception, co-ordination and analyse of inquiries and surveys,
helping for instance to re-organise hospital teams, mutualise or
externalise tasks in the framework of the new governance and of the T2A
(ratemaking depending on the activity).
